Halo 3 (2007)



Halo 3 first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie 2007 for Xbox 360 console. The third instalment in the Halo franchise, the game follows the story arc begun in Halo for 2001: "combat evolved" and continued in 2004 in Halo 2. The game was released on September 25, 2007, in Australia, Brazil, India, New Zealand, North America and Singapore; 26 September 2007 in Europe and on September 27, 2007, in Japan. The story of Halo 3 in the wars between the twenty-sixth century human and a collection of alien races known as the Covenant. The player assumes the role of Master Chief, a cybernetically enhanced supersoldier, as he battles the Covenant. The game features vehicles, weapons and gameplay elements not present in previous titles in the series, as well as adding saved gameplay films, share files, and the map editor forge – a tool which allows the player to perform modifications on multiple levels.

I started developing Bungie Halo 3 shortly after they shipped Halo 2. The game was officially announced at E3 2006 and previous open beta multiplayer to select players who have bought this Xbox 360 game campaign. Microsoft spent $ 40 million on marketing the game, trying to sell more games and expand the appeal of the game outside of the fanbase aura. Promotions and marketing included an alternate reality game.

A day before its release, 4.2 million units of Halo 3 were in retail outlets. Halo 3 grossed us $ 300 million in the first week. More than 1 million people playing Halo 3 on Xbox Live in the first 24 hours. So far, sold Halo 3 exceed 14.5 million copies, making it the fifth best selling Xbox 360 game of all time, the second best selling game franchise Halo, the best selling Xbox 360 exclusive title and best selling first person shooter games on the console outside the "call of duty". The game was also the best selling video game of 2007 in the United States generally, and the game received good critics, with multiple presentations and singled out as strong features; however some reviewers criticized aspects of one player, especially land planning and campaign. Introduction to the game, Halo 3: ODST, released worldwide on September 22, 2009. The sequel, 4 Halo, released on November 6, 2012, 343 industries developed and achieved a $ 220 million on launch day. Halo 3 was rereleased as part of Halo: Master Chief "Xbox" on 11 November 2014.
